Webinar: Væske biopsi i kreftbehandling
Onsdag 9. september 2020, kl 14:00
Program:
- Welcome and introduction
(Gilles Erb, Roche) - The clinical value of liquid biopsy – now and in the future
(Prof. Christian Rolfo) 25 min - Advancements and new insights into liquid biopsy technology
(Dr Geoff Oxnard) 15 min - Q&A - 20 min
Prof. Christian Rolfo, MD, PhD, MBA
Director, Thoracic Medical Oncology and Early Trials Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Centre University of Maryland, School of Medicine Baltimore, Maryland, US
Prof. Rolfo specialised in thoracic oncology, drug development and translational oncology. His current research focuses on liquid biopsies (exosomes and ctDNA) and molecular profiling. He is the vice president of the International Society of Liquid Biopsy and is well positioned to guide attendees through the complexities of using liquid biopsies in everyday practice.
Dr Geoff Oxnard, MD
Global Medical Lead, Liquid Franchise Foundation Medicine Inc. Cambridge, Massachusetts, US
Dr Oxnard is an experienced clinical investigator and clinician scientist who has worked over the past 10 years to develop and clinically pilot liquid biopsy technologies to advance precision cancer medicine. He has a thorough understanding of the pitfalls and technical challenges in providing liquidbiopsy-based high-quality, validated genomic information for clinical decision making.
